Opportunities are widespread to reduce our dependency on fossil fuel and instead develop and deploy clean and renewable energy in order to be kinder to our planet. We have an abundance of renewable energy sources including solar, wind, wave, hydropower, biofuel and geothermal however, we are still lacking the widespread technological knowhow to capture these renewable energy sources.
International collaboration between governments, businesses and industry experts is key to increasing clean energy research and development such that emissions can be reduced to a more accepted level.
As reported by the OECD recently, investment in renewable energy and energy efficiency is not growing quickly enough to achieve zero net greenhouse gas emissions by the end of this century. Therefore, private sector investments are essential to meeting climate goals.
We are keen to work with private investors and companies looking especially to advance their solar photovoltaic competencies for local needs.
